Covid Protocol Updates & More Aerial Classes are on the way at Ascend Aerial Arts!

COVID Protocol Updates

Ascend Aerial will be updating our COVID protocols for aerial silks & aerial straps classes starting Sat June 19th as follows:

  • Wearing Face Masks will be optional for those who are fully vaccinated with proof provided.  
  • Group Aerial & Self-Defense classes are available for students who are fully vaccinated with proof provided to the studio at this time.
  • Youth Aerial students will continue to wear masks and remain 4 to a class.
  • Everyone will continue to wash hands before & after class
  • Proof of Vaccination Required for ALL specialty classes
  • Class Capacity is increased to 8 for classes EXCEPT for Youth Aerial
  • Yoga Mats will be optional though it is recommended

Beginner Aerial Classes – 75 Minutes

Beginner Aerial Silks will focus on aerial foundations for beginning students. The class will include a warm-up, conditioning, climbs, poses on the fabric, and a cool-down.

  • Thursday 4PM – 5:15PM – starts June 24, July 1, 8 & 15
  • Saturday 1PM – 2:15PM – starts June 26, July 3, 10 & 17
  • Sundays 1PM – 2:15PM – starts July 11, 18, 25 and Aug 1st

Aerial Basic Training Classes – 75 Minutes

This drop-in class is for those who want to train basic aerial silks skills.  Anyone who has taken the 1-day Intro may sign up as long as they are fully vaccinated and have provided proof to the studio.  

  • Thursdays at 7:30pm (except the last Thursday of the month)
  • Saturdays at 11:30AM (except the first Saturday of the month)

Pre-Intermediate & Intermediate Aerial Classes

Become proficient with aerial silks! Go from knowing a lot of moves to being able to do them beautifully, and start learning to make up your own repertoire. Each week we will concentrate on a specific class of poses, focusing on basic troubleshooting, form and technique, variations and transitions, and adding your own personal flair.

  • Tuesdays – 4PM – 5:15PM

Students that are not vaccinated

Students that are not vaccinated will, at this time, not be allowed to enroll for any aerial silks class with vaccination requirements – no exceptions.   As we open up and add more spots to each aerial silks class, students will be sharing apparatus with one another and be closer in proximity during classes.  Our studio has NOT made this decision lightly and we hope you understand that the safety and health of everyone at our studio is a top priority.     I have met with all our instructors and this is the direction that our studio has decided at this time.  We will revisit this requirement as the state slowly reopens.
