SATURDAY 4/28 – 2:30PM – 4:30PM CLEANING UP TECHNIQUE 2

Jumping to that next level can often be the hardest challenge in aerial. We covered some basic ways to strengthen your body for aerial work. In this upcoming workshop we will cover proper tips to help clean up your skills and help improve your endurance on an apparatus. It is often bad technique that is holding us back and not our own abilities. Fine tuning your basics will speed line your progress and help you advance to new and improved skills. We will also focus a bit more on movement and how to work with gravity or against gravity to help you express yourself on the apparatus. PREREQUISITE: This class is appropriate for ALL aerial silks levels, working on climbing to the top, inversions, hip keys or more advanced skills.

SATURDAY 4/28 – 4:45PM – 6:45PM BEATS AND MOMENTUM

Lets talk about that swing! I have devoted the majority of my teaching career to improving how people teach beats and momentum. This workshop breaks down how to use gravity and some basic physics to execute perfect beats. We will cover exercises that slowly guide you to understanding momentum. This is a vital part of aerials and improves your endurance ability as well as performance ability. This workshop has been taught internationally to both students and instructors.   PREREQUISITE: Experience with beats, comfortable in knee hang

SUNDAY – MAY 6TH 5PM – 7PM EXPLORATION IN PARTNERING 2: BEG/INT

Partnering on aerials opens up a who new set of vocabulary, options and challenges. In this workshop we will focus on safe and correct technique for begining partnering as well as some fun and unique sequences. Allowing exploration is key to creating unique tricks and poses on silks. Working with your partner you will be guided in some improv to find what shapes work for your duo.   You do not have to attend the workshop with a partner. It is important that you have endurance and a clean inversion to be able to attend this workshop to keep both you and your partner safe. Maximum number of students is 10 and a minimum of 6 is required to hold each of these workshops. $75M / $80 NM – 1 Workshop with Xochitl $140M / $150 NM – 2 Workshops with Xochitl $215M / $230 NM – 3 Workshops with Xochitl
