2022 Ascend Aerial Holiday Class Schedule

We wish everyone a very Happy Holidays!  Regular aerial session classes are done for December!  Below are the classes that we are holding for our aerial students who wish to train during the last 2 weeks of December.  CHECK the PREREQUISITES or contact Tammy at 650.489.6573 (text/voice) if there are any questions. 

 Aerial Silks Training
Thursdays 12/22 & 12/29 7:30PM

  Took your first aerial silks class and you’re hooked but cannot get into a group class yet? This class is for you!  We will train and work on basic skills like footlocks, climbing, hip keys and overall strength building that you will need so that when we have more spots in our group classes, you will be ready!   Expect a full body workout, with an emphasis on upper body and core strength as they apply to aerial practices. 

Stacked – Handstands Review & Refine
Friday, 12/23 3:45PM

This new and improved stacked 75 Minute class will review and refine drills for straight, tucked, and straddle handstands. You will learn additional drills to strengthen specific muscles to make finding a handstand shape easier. We will work on different entries to handstand and practicing trusting our own hands.  For Beginners & Those who have taken handstands before.  Students must be fully vaccinated for COVID with proof and also wear their masks over nose and mouth at all times when you are in the studio for this class. 

Pau Hana: Friday Night Aerial By Invitation Only
12/23 & 12/30 at 5pm

Come unwind with your aerial family after a long week at work. This drop-in class will focus on polishing fundamental aerial silks skills. Expect a full body workout, with an emphasis on upper body and core strength as they apply to aerial practices. 

Aerial Review – Tuesday 12/27 & 12/30 2PM

Want extra time to review what you’ve learned?  Come to Aerial Review to practice skills taught in your other classes. There will be a mandatory group cool-down, and an instructor will be on-hand to spot, review moves, or in case you have questions or concerns during class.  Note: bring your own material to work on, as the instructor will not be teaching new tricks or techniques.
